Guest blog: How to increase average session duration

We were recently approached by Good Firms for comment on how to improve average session duration on websites.

"To improve this you need to think about how and what information you are presenting. At a glance, is there enough or too much information on this page? Are we signposting readers to somewhere else? If not, should we be? Looking at the data in Google Analytics, what are the typical customer journeys and do these align with what you need or expected?"

"Poor UX and signposting can lead customers to be overwhelmed by information, or frustrated by unintuitive webpages and website flow. Always test your website and assume the role of your customer to really critique what you display, and ask yourself, can it be streamlined?"
